Japanese must destroy one unit. Which one?

Edit: I forgot to post the support provided to the attacks.

The Italian fleet provides 12 points in shore bombardment for the attack on Athens.
The Japanese air force (LND2 + FTR2) provide 3 points in ground support in China.
And Luftwaffe provide 13 points in ground support in Greece.

End edit.

The attack on the Soviet CAV, and Athens are automatic.

The attack on the Nationalist GARR is 4:1. Will China select assault or Blitz?

40 ND EOT begin:
US chooses chit v GE and no USE option. USE is miserably low for end of 40.

Prelim prod:
CH 2BP with 2 saved but only 1 avail. Apparently someone mistakenly placed both BP in Kashgar. 1 rule of MWIF is never place 2 BP in same location since only 1 can be pulled out per production phase. However I think only 2 or 2 are needed this build phase so that's good.

CW prod: 1 res from Rhodesia should be reaching UK but isn't due to MWIF resource routing problems.
Dutch Guyana should be going through C Atl then N Atl and Rhodesia should be going through CSV then N Atl but instead Dutch Guyana is going into CVB and preventing the Rhodesian from passing there). There is also an Indian res that is taking up capacity in C Atl that should be routed through CSV.
Hopefully another of the players will be able to figure out how to correct this to get CW prod up to 18 while still saving 4 oil in UK and 6 oil in Canada. I think it's possible to manually re-route resources but when I try do this the game seems to forget settings I make and revert to the old way anyway.

41 JF game i1 and game update

It now looks of course like the Euro-Axis have completely pivoted and are headed for a Barb 41 after calling Vichy. N. Africa is no longer a likely target, nor is Egypt, nor a Sealion. JP is too heavily involved with China and SU to go for an early DOW vs CW. China was in a bad position and it has only gotten worse. China should have left the 2-4 CAV near Kunming - sending it north was a bad move in hindsight. Late SU DOW has helped a little but it was too late for China.

CW now has to decide how to prioritize its' activities with a view to the coming war between SU & GE. Some long range plans have been laid and CW builds will align to those plans. The short term goal is of course to protect convoy lines during the winter when it's likely the Kriegsmarine may try to raid Britain's merchant shipping. Because an attack on Spain or N. Africa looked possible most of the CW production for the last 6 months has been defensive but now it's time to begin to build some offensive tools.

USE is not good. No lending to SU can be picked, the Burma road still can't be re-opened, and US still has a few turns at least until gear-up - likely it'll be mid-41. US is embarked on a naval build program that should pay dividends in 43 but not sooner.

A strategy to deal with Vichy France also has to be decided on and allied planners are working on drawing up some possible plans for that.

Now for the impulse.

FF SUB leaves Seychelles to sail around Cape
