CMANO version 1.14 Build 998.17.
DB3000 Build 476.

Iskander fired using BOL aiming. MIM-104F manually allocated for 9M723 Iskander missile. 9M723 flied at altitude 35-60 km (values of altitude vary in different tests). Ceiling of MIM-104F is 24.384 km. But MIM-104 however hit 9M723 flying below target at 20 km.

Scenario is attached.

Video zipped (30 MB) https://1drv.ms/u/s!Anb7Th3YJQlchY9AO1JeCuqXFLfFnA

In the ExceptionLog.txt a lot of messages:
Exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Stack Trace: at Command_Core.ActiveUnit_Sensory.(Contact , Single , )
at Command_Core.ActiveUnit_AI.(Weapon& )

Problem with MIM-104F sensors?

I think this might be a problem for many missiles. As long as the missile and the target overlapped on the map the missile will get a hit probably. You can create a small scenario, add a fighter like f-22 to one side, add a target, fire a amraam, and delete the target, then add a low-altitude target near the amraam, manually allocate your amraam to it and plot the course toward it manually by using pov-only mode. You can see the missile will still probably hit the target no matter how big the difference in altitude is. As for the scenario you are talking about, I think maybe the missiles actually lost it target since I saw the iskander went outside the radars search arcs, then the missile stop it's climbing and went straight, then they overlapped on the map and so the game took it is as a hit.

Thanks for the save. The problem of the Patriot being able to impact on the ballistic target despite it being above its altitude envelope was fixed. Also fixed the sensory/AI problem. The issue of "instant snap up/down" is part of a more general deficiency in missile kinematics which is being worked on, and the solution will be released in the future.
