It will require years to complete. But I have made progress identifying units locations, strengths and commanders, the nationalities of locations, etc. This is scenario 126 in RHS and is only really useful to test late war planes, missiles, ships etc at the moment. But you can steal art, data, etc to the extent they might be useful to you. I have in particular reworked places like Okinawa - so you get the actual 5th Artillery Command - and the divisions as actually configured - at that location. Also, many units no longer extant in 1945 have been 9999ed out. Just curious. Will Allied a/c planned to be produced in the event of the war going beyond the historical Japanese surrender be included? Of specific interest is the PV-2D. It was armed for as an attack bomber for ground support and had 8 nose mounted .50 cal MGs. It also could carry the 11" Tiny Tim rocket internally. Only a few were produced but the USN had a very significant order that was cancelled in Sept 45. In ordinary scenarios, I run the war until the end of Monsoon, 1946. In all of those (121, 122, 123, 124, 125 and 129) we DO keep building Allied aircraft - usually until a later model replaces them. It varies on a case by case basis, if there is data in the historical record to indicate an intention. But the Downfall Scenario (126) is different. It is a 'mini' scenario - running from 10 February 1945 until 31 August 1945. It starts with most of the IJA destroyed, and a lot of air and ground units destroyed, and the Allies in many positions from which Japan can be attacked. There are terrible starting stocks of resources, oil, fuel and supplies. Much industry is damaged. Few merchant ships remain to move resources, supplies, etc. It is not likely Japan will be able to resist Allied attacks. But it may be testing will reveal we need to extend the game through the Fall Season. Note I have developed two kinds of atomic bombs which work better than the stock one - which does not do much damage for an atom bomb - and neither affects the victory level. The US gets 1 uranium bomb per month and 2 plutonium bombs per month. Under extraordinary circumstances, Japan might be able to get 1 uranium bomb in some months - but I used the production system and it is not likely to function well enough to make any in 1945. I put in all the planned British, Canadian and Australian super heavy bombers.
