It's beyond me how game developers of early access games can sell DLCs before the game is fully developed

Well for 13€ (Naval Action) I don´t expect to have my stomach full for weeks...

In other words, If I can pull off more then 10hrs of fun, then I can say I got an hours worth of fun for 1€, which is alot more then what we used to pay for 10min. or less on a pinball machine!

Besides, I´ll be playing Naval Action with some friends which is the whole idea behind buying Naval Action. I don´t know what some of you spend on beers on a night out with your friends, but me and my friends sure as hell spend alot more then that when we go out!

I can understand the need for more money to finish developing a game that is in Early Access. But knocking off 65% of the retail price for Naval Action thereby bringing the price down to $13.99 while selling its five DLCs for a total of $74.95 puts me off. The only thing I would consider doing is purchasing the base game and leave it uninstalled in my Steam Library until it is finished and released. I've been burnt enough on Early Access titles that never got finished to prevent me from taking a chance.

Not because someone post a game on sale means you have to buy it. Although Iam not a fan of "Early Access", I would like to point out that "some" games on EA have there core gameplay finished, and then stay on EA for future improvments and/or player base suggestions to be added. This way they still keep building up the "base" game.

It´s all very tricky because even games that are finished can have bugs which remain un-fixed for quite some time, even with DLC´s out. The case with "This War of Mine" just to name one.

You do have to do some research before you buy, no matter what, and one mans junk can be another mans treasure.

Back on topic...

This one (Hockey) brought back some good memories with the teams back then and my fav players. Lived in Motreal and played hockey at the age of 7 at that time (1969)...

Yes I agree with the price, but it does seem they have been at it for quite some time. IDJester (a Matrix YT reviwer) plays them quite alot, and so does his buddy AI RedsoxFan.

These are great games, especially the golf game and hockey a close second. Football, Baseball, and Basketball good as well. They are not career simulations, they are season replay games. So you'll want to make sure you like those type before purchasing. Company actually has an awesome 30 day return policy, you can try their full products for 30 days and if you don't like it, return it with no questions asked....no risk to ever trying them out.

As for pricey, not really for those types of games...very niche and competitive with other season replay games. With that said, DKSports has sales throughout the entire year that you often can pick things up very cheap.

If you like season replay sport games and like the sports that are available, absolutely should try them.

Last chance to get Grey Goo for 1,05€...

Fanatical Store (legit Steam keys):

Didn´t know the team all came from "Westwood Studios" before EA bought them out. (Command & Conquer), so you can expect a great RTS.

I am pretty sure that that is a grey-market site selling stolen keys or keys purchased with stolen CCs. You should not support such sites - often the developer ends up paying a charge when a stolen CC is used. They are parasites costing real devs real money.

Cheers

Well I don't know about that, first time I saw it and gotten one game and worked fine (non-steam version) then got Medieval (steam) it worked too. Didn't realize they are based in Hong Kong, but there a lot of good reviews about that site being cheaper than others.

Also checked on Wikipedia and see if there are any infos about that site, none so far. Didn't get my card hacked and if that site is bad, should have been taken down or blocked through USA and other countries.

Anyway I google it, that where I found it. Been looking for something was kinda hard to find. If you can show they are grey-marketing thief as proofs then I would stay out of that place. I couldn't find anything bad about them.

Btw, I did google that site for details, complaints, etc. There are up and down and really not much can say or even can prove they are stealing keys, etc. Sorry I wasn't sure about that site, so go ahead and delete that thread I mention it.

Thanks for the heads-up about the World of Warships Humble Pack being currently free on Humble. A free cruiser, port slot, and three days of Premium Account is a nice gesture.

But World of Warships isn't just free-to-play to play on Steam, it's Free-to-Play period.

Well Tank Warfare Tunisia 43 is heavily on sale at Steam. It's obviously the kinda of mistake that happens every time a Steam sale happens, where someone enters the wrong percentage for the discounts. In this case the complete edition with all DLC is actually cheaper then the standalone game. Honestly, finding these mistakes on the first day of a Steam sale is half the fun of them.

But the complete version with all DLC is around $6, or about 93% off. Graviteams older products are much less heavily discounted, so grab it while you can--- usually someone figures it out pretty quickly.
