Here we are again. Not understanding supply.

The French Corp was completely isolated with a strength of 2 at the end of the Axis turn. As the pic below shows it was able to reinforce in the Allies turn to 6!

As I have noted in other threads, where the hell did these trained and armed men come from? This kind of behavior is one of my major issues with the game as it make no sense at all. We might as well be playing a SF game versus what is supposed to be a rough approximation of WWII.

Isn't there a French town Lille (city) underneath that French Corp? Maybe the dudes found some Apple Orchards, broke into some Vending Machines w/ potato chips or had some K-rations left. Either way, look at the unit, supply-2, no big deal, it's toast. Readiness 16%, Morale 3%. Those numbers are the equivalent of some Fentanyl Opioid drug addict overdosed loser in the Emergency Room. Blast him & be thankful for the experience added to your Troops.

As stated above the town of Lille would provide 10 supply when linked to the capital, then when cut off it would provide a supply of 5 when linked to a secondary supply hex. When completely surrounded, such as in your pic, the town will still provide a supply of 3. Since you have more than two units adjacent to the town, it will lose 1 supply every turn until it reaches zero.

From your screenshot it looks like one turn has passed since Lille was both adjacent to two of your units and also isolated from a Capital/Secondary supply, so it rightfully has a supply level of 2. This means that during the opponents turn (which happened before your adjacent units got to "tick" off a point), Lille had a supply value of 3, and if you look at the chart on page 164, you will see that it could resupply to a maximum of 6.

All of this is in the manual, and is not a bug. Stay adjacent for two more turns (or even better, strategically bomb/rocket/etc the RES under the unit) and it will drop to zero supply and not be able to reinforce at all.
