Ok,

let me preface this with , I LOVE the BOX UPGRADE offers Matrix and Slitherine are giving us now, for people like myself that recall when games had boxes and printed manuals , and loved the fact they did, its just a very generous thing to do. The CMANO Manual alone for 14.99 is worth it, let alone a nice box and such.

BUTTTTTT.................. Oh my god they are offering a "Check Your Six" version of the UPGRADE after the blatant theft of that Dev team. I would have liked to thought they had some empathy for people that were on the receiving end of this screwing, and I also understand they lost money as well. Yet in my opinion it shows a total lack of empathy, and really more pure APATHY towards the people that bought the game. In a percentage based scenario I would be very comfortable saying the Publisher loss does not come close to the overall consumer loss in monetary value at all.Even if it does, its still disgusting and obvious attempt at what equates to "PHISHING" the already ripped of purchasers of this game.

They should pull that game from the offer, just the fact they are willing to take consumer money , consumers that already paid a price for literally "NOTHING of any value" , to cover the poor judgement they made tells me its a pure corporate "suit" decision and no thought or care at all was involved as to the "way they appear" in doing so. Just sad, will probably copy and paste this onto the site as what I want to write in a post will be deleted the moment its is seen by anyone with the ability to do so. (rightfully so I might add, I know they would be just doing their job.)

Really need to check your six on anything in relation to the Cy6 game and apparently ALL PARTIES involved, before you get a corporate suit amraam in it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not familiar with Check Your Six, but I understand that it is a board game conversion and I have become very leery of board game conversions here at Matrix, after a couple of disasters, such as Empires in Arms and World in Flames. For some reason, many of them just don't turn out well...

Check your Six was my worst purchase. I wish I would have bought through Steam. Then, I would have received a refund. This game was and still is a piece of garbage. Just like E.T. for Atari.

The reality of it is they did not finish it, not really ven polished for release. Had a update/beta build they had almost complete enough for beta test/internal testing and released that week or two later after launch, then just disappeared and its now abandon ware essentially. Its based of one the most critically acclaimed Board/miniature Aviation games ever and was widely looked forward to by a lot of people that play it or similar like the Wings of Glory games .

76mm I agree, for what ever reason, it seems the better the game is in its physical form, they rarely seem to do well digitally. In this case it was just outright abandoned and they knew they would long before they released it, as did, I suspect others. The teams leadership I will not name here , just not worth the potential trouble it may cause me on Matrix (Whom I have the utmost respect for usually, just not in this case, any way the Teams leaders really have yet to surface and I hope that if nothing else their careers are ruined, Did my part and will continue to make sure people are aware of the scum bags . This was supposed to be a straight digital port over, and should have been relatively easy thing to do, when compared to other games that start from ground up.

No updates or anything ever, just a beta client release and then they Houdinied and flat vanished. Leaving those that paid the 30-40$ for it with basically a final Alpha state pos that really is not even close to enjoyable if you are able to get it stable and play through the various bugs it has.

I understand wanting to recoup some loss by the publisher, but to do it on the backs of already ripped of customers is pathetic way to "run a railroad" , if I may say so, and I do . Go after them and get it back, not the people that made, and continue to make you what you are today. Whether intentional or not, the point is its a insult to the dimmest of us intelligence that they even considered making a BOXED UPGRADE for the garbage in the first place, much less let it make the final cut and hope some one might purchase it.

Pure greed , or pure stupidity , maybe both.
