I'm playing Italy solo (Germany and Japan played by AI). It's now the 3rd time I played the Italian campaign and after a few years the same problem always appears.

During axis AI play (Germany or Japan) the game gets stuck at "thinking (combat F) �" Always this phase, always during the friendly AI turn.

Sometimes it helps if I replay the Italian turn. Sometimes it helps if I perform a some movement and combat with some of the axis AI-units. In my current game neither helps.

I'm going to hazard a guess: could the AI be including some of the Italian units in its thinking?

BTW: the AI sometimes moves the Italian heavy tank when I have not used it.
