As the title says, as of 998.20 this bug is alive and well.

You can see it in fly Jamjar39 futility trying to engage a Bogey at 55000ft from it's own wave-riding 300ft altitude, and never trying to close vertical distance indiferent to the fact that it's altitude diference and not horizontal range which it's blocking them from firing.

That's not the behavior that I'm seeing, testing this ATM.

The 2 F-15s comprising FLIGHT JAMJAR39 (I spent time searching for an aircraft named as such because you misspelled "flight") remain at very low altitude only as long as they are pinned down by the incoming PL-12 salvoes from the J-20s engaging them.

Once this threat disappears, both fighters start climbing again, to chase down the retreating H-6Gs westward.

Can anyone else check this?

Shiit, it's the wrong save and I've already deleted all the others, so I have nothing to show you.

I will re-report if/when it repeats again (im fairly sure that bug I saw was real since it happened when I was not under attack).

Until then disregard this, and my apologies for having wasted your time.
