Status: offline 		ive been a member of 3 rather popular SP clubs online. it never ceases to amaze me at the # of finns that love this game. i would bet per capita, Finland has more SP player than any :)

That´s because we are very proud of our history (Winter War, the defence battles of Continuation War etc). Minä en itse aio tätä Megakampanjaa hankkia, vaikka raha hyvään tarkoitukseen meneekin. Like somebody mentioned Winter War etc. propably have lot to do with plus that about 86% of each generation of Finnish males have themselves been in the army are. Myself included. Maybe the number of computers here has also something to do with it? :)

Status: offline 		Tämän foorumin hyvä puoli on kyllä nopeet vastaukset :) Harmi vaan, että niitä varsinaisia megakamppajan tilaajia ei taida olla montaa. Tilaisin muuten ite, mutta kun en tiiä miten se maksu tapahtuu yhdysvaltoihin? Jollain shekillä? Luottokorttia kun ei löydy minulta...

Status: offline 		Enpä ole perehtynyt vielä tähän maksupuoleen... Jos sekki kelpaa, niin sellaisen saa pankista. Kannattaa sitten katsella dollarin kurssia pari päivää josko säästäisit rahaa (jopa monta penniä ;))... Kyllä jonkinlainen tilisiirto tai postiennakko olisivat kaikkein kätevimpiä, mutta eivät kaiketi sitten käy maksutavoiksi tässä tapauksessa. Parhaat neuvot saat kuitenkin, kun marssit pankkkiin ja postiin ja selvität millaisia kuluja tilauksesta koituisi. Parempaa neuvoa en osaa antaa... [ June 18, 2001: Message edited by: Arto ]

Status: offline 		Halvin tapa on maksaa luottokortilla jos uskaltaa.Tilisiirto on toinen tapa ,mutta ainakin Meritassa se maksaa muistaakseni ainakin reilu 100mk lähetys, jonka kuulemma pitäisi kattaa vastapuolen kulut(tässä tapauksessa USAAN).Mutta kun Merita ei tiedä vastapuolen pankin kuluja tarkkaan niin maksu voi olla ruhtinaallinen. Rahan voi lähettää kirjekuoressa Matrixin osoitteeseen, mutta kuten tiedät mitä voi käydä. Itse uskalsin tilata visalla MG, mutta kun lasku saapui jo kuukausi sitten ja siinä oli postikulut kahteen kertaan, niin peruin koko kaupan ja dollari on myös helvetin kallis ! Steel :mad:

Mähän voisin näitä poltella, mutta jos pääkaupunkiseudulla asustelette niin hinnaksi pitäisi tollanen 30 markkaa lyödä ihan postmaksun ansiosta kun itse pitelen majaa täällä Turussa. -Z PS. Joku joka on leikkinyt scenario editorin kanssa, miten victory heksoja saa poistettua/lisättyä?

En ole saanut poistettua. Niitähän on vakiomäärä, 20 (?). Mutta ne voi piilottaa joko muiden v-lippujen alle tai neutraaleina (ja pisteet nollassa tietysti) heksaan 0,0. (Se on esteettisin paikka niille.) -Sasa

Status: offline 		In the mid sixties,an english magazine taught us about the great Finnish flier/patriot Eino Lukaanen.(I've seen it spelled other ways as well..)..This man must have truly been a great pilot and fearless warrior,especially once you know his plane was the "BREWSTER BUFFALO",a fat pig of a plane which has been desribed as being too unmaneuverable to get out of it's own way!..I also saw recently where a BUFFALO had been fished out of a Finnish(or Russian?)lake and is being preserved....I would much like to see it....(You can see the videos of it's salvage by typing "Brewster Buffalo" into your browser and following the guides...)......bob :)

Krhm, you probably mean Eino Luukkanen, and he was, if I remember correctly, the commander of the 34th Fighter Squadron after the previous had died in plane crash. As for the Brewster, the Finnish fighter pilots nearly loved it after furious battles with Fokked D.21 -fighter during the Winter War. With 44 Brewster Finns shot down 400-500 Soviet air planes, though lots of them were obsolute I-16 and I-153 fighters, but also many Russian Hurricanes, LaGGs, MiGs, IL-2s, Pe-2s, to name a few.
