Krhm, you probably mean Eino Luukkanen, and he was, if I remember correctly, the commander of the 34th Fighter Squadron after the previous had died in plane crash.
As for the Brewster, the Finnish fighter pilots nearly loved it after furious battles with Fokked D.21 -fighter during the Winter War.
With 44 Brewster Finns shot down 400-500 Soviet air planes, though lots of them were obsolute I-16 and I-153 fighters, but also many Russian Hurricanes, LaGGs, MiGs, IL-2s, Pe-2s, to name a few.
