Hello !
I have a problem with the gearing limit of the USSR that drop to 1 for every unit class. Is it possible to fix it ?
The last turn was JF43, Germany make 1 attack in USSR homeland.
Normally it should be possible for USSR to build 5 planes, 4 pilotes, 2 inf, 2 arm in JF43 production step.
(i have already post this question in another thread "A Layman's Guide to "Successfully" Editing the MWiF Game File", maybe the wrong place for answer...)

Thank's for some help !
S.

There is something unusual about this saved game. It shows 45 BPs reduced to 36 BPs but an Offensive chit has been built. Those cost 15 BPS, so there should only be 30 BPs remaining.

Since this is a Hot Seat game, I expect you are emailing GAM files back and forth. If that is the case, then the Production data can get confused.

The program is designed to run Solitaire and Hot Seat games on a single computer. NetPlay games are expected to be running on two computers.

What causes the difficulty is that the program maintains records of what each major power builds and implements the actual selection of random units and creation of 'temporary' units after all major powers have completed their production choices. Pilots and forts are examples of 'temporary' units since they only appear in the Production Pools as reinforcements but never actually appear on the map as moveable units.

Anyway, there isn't much that I can do at this point to rectify your saved game. You should go back to a previous saved game prior to the Production Phase. [Which I expect you have already done, since your post was more than a month ago.]

Be very careful when sending GAM files between computers during the Production Phase. The same is true of the Lending Phase.
