So I recently stumbled upon the Honours screen for units, and absolutely love it. It adds so much colour to the game being able to see what and where individual units fought. That got my mind racing, and thinking I'd love to be able to see all kinds of history from a game, like

- Dates units are formed, disbanded or destroyed
- Unit Honours (or even individual battles, e.g. The Central Expidition Army attacked XXXIIV Corp in November, 1940)
- Dates cities captured/liberated
- Dates cities bombed
- and much much more...

I'm not a programmer, but I've been looking for a little project to re-learn some old coding/scripting skills I've let atrophy. I'd love to put together something that can pull this sort of information out of a game file and make it presentable. I'm wondering if there's any possibility of seeing some sort of API or even just documentation on the save game file structure that would make this sort of thing possible?

Glad to hear you are enjoying the game and the features

This is a great idea but unfortuantely we don't have anything exposed for something like this via an API, but perhaps something for us to consider in the future.
