Hi everyone! I wanted to know how I can contribute into adding recently acquired assets of the Armed Forces of the Philippines in the CMANO db.

I am always creating scenarios based on Philippine events, but it's kinda hard now because of the outdated assets info in CMANO db for the Philippine side.

if you need platforms added, you should post in the thread for that: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3436106&mpage=151

if you want to create facilities (such as airfields or radar stations) you can create those in the game and then export them. I'm unsure on WFS' policy on including them in the base game, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I was looking for info on this topic just the other day.

Do you have a source that you could share that would provide me with some updated data on Philippine military, especially air units?

Thanks in advance.

Doug

Hey romarjeslet ... welcome aboard. I have scenario based on a potential modern Philippines action and would love for you to examine it. Will send the scenario by PM if you have a some free time to take a look. Doug and I had fun discussions regarding the battle a few months ago. Just let me know.

Kevin

Hi DWReese, I am more than happy to provide the links for the source.

It's just that, I can't post links due to this account being new (I have to wait for 7 days) even though I've been a CMANO player for years (I just registered to the forum last night).

Hi kevinkins,

I can't seem to send you a PM due to your Inbox being full. Just send the scenario to me and I'd be happy to check'em.

That's no problem. Whenever you get around to it will be fine.

Thank you.

what kind of source are you looking for?

due to the classified nature of some of our assets, most of our information are coming from "shoulder-taps". but these are verified by the Philippine defense community, but not by the military itself (coz again, its supposed to be classified).

You may check MaxDefense (you may Google it, cant provide the link here as I am a new member). Almost all of the official and insider reports are there (yeah, yeah he's a blogger, but he is one of the most respected Filipino defense blogger in the Philippines and he is also a former Philippine Naval Officer. thus, his connections into the military provides him genuine info).

that one!

but I think MaxDefense is already constructing a page on his website containing the recent acquisitions in the Armed Forces of the Philippines. you might also wanna check it out.

on that list, the one with the specific name of asset acquired (Blackhawk, Hermes 900) are the ones that have either been signed, pending delivery or delivered.
