Euro-Axis. The Eastern Front. Land Combat (1/4). The Wehrmacht finally clear out Novgorod, which only leaves Leningrad for Army Group North to take before clearing out their entire sector. Well, that's not entirely true. Murmansk is still Soviet controlled but is, and has been, isolated since the start of the war with Russia.

Field Marshall von Rundstedt and a mech corps were ordered away from the area prior to the assault on Novgorod. He has been given command of a newly formed Panzer Army which is racing east towards Moscow and beyond as fast as possible and while the weather is fine.

Euro-Axis. The Eastern Front. Land Combat (3 & 4/4). Three more Soviet armies and a division are destroyed by Army Group Center. While Moscow is an objective and will likely be assaulted this turn, Perm is (now) the primary objective for Army Group Center. They plan to race east as fast as possible this turn while they have the weather. The question is whether or not the Soviets can stop them before the fall rains (next turn) come.

USA. Lend Lease to Free France. In violation of the neutrality act, passed by the US congress, somehow Admiral (Ernest) King and President Roosevelt skirt the law and transport lend lease directly to Free France without the US congress having passing option 32, "US refutes Naval War zones".

Western Allies. ASW Escorts Reserves. The entire USN Atlantic fleet is available for ASW escort. Their only limitation is 3 ship moves total per impulse. Great Britain also has three NAV air groups on standby if axis subs are spotted.
