I have been bombarding and bombing Taihoku for weeks to reduce supply and combat power. The combat power has been reducing but the supplies will take a hit and then recover! There is no intrinsic resupply. all the rest of Formosa is captured. There can be no supply ships as the island is surrounded. And I checked the ops report and there is no air supply. What am I missing?

Are you playing the AI. If so, are you on the Hard or Very hard setting?....GP

Taihoku has Manpower, Oil, Resources and Light Industry. If you have troops in the hex the resource and oil production stop but the LI can still use any stockpiled resources.

I just checked there is some LI left. I will do away with that immediately. Thanks. No matter how long I play this, I still find something new

I had an impression from my AI games that AI's industry can be incredibly productive when there is not enough supply in the hex for the AI LCUs So bombing away LI/HI was necessary to soften up the defence in the tough sieges
