You're not in a gas chamber, or a concentration camp, are you?

+1

Lecivius, I agree wholeheartedly. I'd say something else in response to Capitaine but it would get the thread locked.

That's kind of off the wall. Why in hell you do you mention that. Neither me nor anyone in my family was remotely subject to that, nor was anyone else. My father was on a bomber crew in WWII and I see nothing illustrious about it. It's shameful, actually.

You are ashamed your father served on a bomber crew in WWII? Some people...

Your comment seems dangerously close to denying the reality of concentration camps and the need to defeat the people that created them. I am willing to give you a chance to correct yourself.

Cheers

No. The United States had concentration camps. Do you acknowledge the need for defeating the people who created those?

EDIT: Thought better of it - sometimes nothing needs to be said. You condemn yourself with your own words.

Condemn is an odd choice of words. I rather think the condemnation rests on those who practice this "religion" like you do.

Hey Capt. You may want to amend the title of the thread. Didn't the Japanese try and shrug off the raid by calling it The Do Little Raid (as opposed to the Doolittle Raid).

Thanks to their sacrifices the fascists were defeated? Isn't that a good thing?

Fellows, this is not the kind of discussion amenable to public declamation. I further doubt moderators would appreciate any more argument along these lines. If you're truly interested in something I've asserted, kindly contact me by PM and we can get deeper into the weeds if you like.
