The Germans bring in a 4-factor Ju-88. Do the CW want to bring any in? The Germans have a 5 and 4 factor fighter they can intercept with.

I am being stupid here. What does the 5:1;6:1B mean for the odds? Why would the odds for Blitz attack be different than for assault? Since the defending hex is a city, not even the die roll modifiers should be different. What am I missing?

The Blitz table has an additional column - 6:1.

Just because its a city, doesn't the defender get to choose the table? I don't think they have to choose assault.

Assault please. Defender chooses in city. I think this attack is very close to 7:1.

The other attacking plane has air to aie value 2.

Do you want to avoid combat or sink my ships? Germany has 6 surprise points.

If you use 4 points to decrease your damage Germany takes nothing and 2 points increase CW damage to 2D 3A. Or if Germany takes A, CW takes 1X 2A

If Germany uses all points to increase damage, Germany takes 2A and CW takes X D 2A.

Both sides place all their damage.

CA Sheffield gets honor to sink/abort enemy ships in surface combat. All 6 points are used to increase damage.

or
