...apologize !!!

I know a lot of you are waiting, but it happened now two times to me:

Everything was ready for shipping, the selfextractor worked flawless and all was tested...then a last game with a friend, more for fun then real testing and there it was...a big, fat error, something stupid I did and didn't see in all the testing...how embarassing... :(

It's the new moving MGs, that cause me so much troubles...first they couldn't enter buildings, now I found out that in the reworked version, where I wanted to solve the building problem (and did), I created a new one...they cannot be loaded into vehicles...ohh boy !!!

At this point it seems easier for me to try to solve this problem and still create a moving MMG that can fire, then to cancel this topic and leave it like in the previous version (my only option if I fail to find a proper way to model them)...

So all the delay is my fault and I wish it wouldn't be so... but I simply need more time, sorry folks :( :( :(

Panzer Leo,

IMHO, take your time I am having a blast with H2H ce (although I have not yet found an opponent to play with it yet).

I like your mod better then the WaW 7.1 set. In 30 days supposidly a new version of 7.2 will be out, will you have to re-mod H2H? If so whats the harm in waiting for that and then re-working it?

BTW, are some of your mods icons (shps, or lbms?) or is mostly just OOB tweaks and the B&W photos (which by the way are really excellent).?

Regards~
Don

You're doing a great job Panzer Leo!..Of course I feel our pleas for a quick release probably caused you to release the new version before you were ready,so no need to blame yourself..
H2H is (IMHO) better suited for those of us who put historical accuracy over "game play"..
The sounds you have added,(especially the recent "crumping" noise of non-penetrating hits) are great..
Take your time and I hope you keep finding more "surprises" we can add at later dates,(like more AT gun sounds)..;)

Point I : Drooling like everyone else for the new toy.

Point II : You are doing this as a gift, which is appreciated.

Point III: Share it when it and you are ready. Part of what this whole SP fan hacking phenomina seems to be about is getting it right, so you are right to keep working it till you are satisfied.:)

Wait a few days, tmac...the new version will be available in a couple and it comes only as full download (65MB)...so if you got a slow connection better take the second...well, if you got a speedy one and you don't care about download times, you could take a look at it right now and get a first impression, ofcourse :)

Thanks Leo...I have broadband thru roadrunner and download times are no longer an issue (God I love high speed, mainly for SPWAW, lol, don't tell my wife). If you think I should wait, I will. I certainly don't want to rush or pressure you, we all appreciate the effort you make. Let me know when and especially where I can download and I'm a happy camper. Thanks again, Tim

Not Panzer Leo, but I think he means don't bother downloading the previous version with a slow connection because the new one will be out soon and there's no point in wasting dial-up time on the old one when you'll just want to replace it with the improved version, but if you have broadband then you could quickly download the previous version to have a look at it before replacing it with the new version as soon as it becomes available. Or I could be completely wrong.:p
