I folks

I've had this game for two years now and added most of the DLC and scenarios off Steam. But its only just recently that I've started to look into gaming it, I say gaming its much more then that, more like a simulation and the closest I think most of us will ever get to commanding modern Air and Naval forces. It deserves time to get right so Im slowly learning the interface and options with a mixture of tutorials, YouTube and playing portions of games. Getting there now, I think once you start getting the hang of things its not as overwhelming as it first appears.

Anywho onto my question. I've downloaded most stuff for the game but don't have many pictures which I feel add to the feel of the game, can anyone advise me where to go to get the files to add pictures to the game?? Also while on the subject can any of you kind folk recommend and mods or other downloads that enhance the game. Thanks guys. I am loving the game and cannot wait to get really proficient at it but time is the key

Regards Steve

there are image and description add ons you can download here:

The main mods I am aware of is are text to speech one (haven't seen much on this lately) and a scenario browser one (http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4252693). Other than those for the most part you will be dealing with the scenarios themselves.

The scenario browser is a must have. You can sort a number of ways and with the huge number of community scenarios it's a real help in picking out something you want to try out.

Some people have a small amount of trouble loading the images, its a fairly common thing. If you encounter this or any issue doing the install, please post, I will get you a link thats on the STEAM GUIDE section thats' web browser useable and you can just make a account for steam if you want and grab it, or might be I can copy and paste it here. TYhink I did this a month or so ago for one other new player and its helped him to no small degree he said, having missed a step in the install thats common for most people to do so.

Hi Chaps

Thanks once I got home from work I found those DB files and downloaded them and put them in the DB files of my CMANO programs. Played a quick turn or two and seem to be working nice. So that is another bridge crossed. I play almost everyday now, just working out the way the game plays, often by trial and error, sometime on YouTube and on here. As well as tutorials. I've played a lot of PC Games but this is the first it feels like your actually in command of forces. Suddenly there seems to be a lot of scenarios being released and I eagerly snap them up, I dont if Ill ever live long enough to play them all. I've even started reading Red Storm Rising as been told its very like the game. Indeed you even start to take a closer interest in world Events not that I want to see a real war anywhere.
