Euro-Axis. Middle East. With the axis having a 72% chance of getting at least one more impulse this turn and with land combat odds no better than +4/+5 assault, the axis both in the Baku Sector and in Syria decide to hold off making any attacks this impulse.

Partisans. The German occupiers in France got a bit careless and left Metz uncovered (i.e., not in any zoc). A French partisan appears and seizes Metz which denying Germany 1 PP and 2 BP's.

Status: offline 		I wonder why you are building a frontline in China against the Japanese. The Chinese lack the necessary punching power to break a solid frontline. Instead, the Chinese should move to positions where the Japanese have no units. Especially the CAV are very good for this. Put fast units in Ichang and start moving east. This will force the Japanese to put units in cities as Nanchang or Wuhan. If they don't the northern front needs to be withdrawn and that's where the best Chinese forces are...

Use Oil. Germany. Note. Italy had no units that needed oil to reorganize; therefore, they used no oil.

This was a must win for the allies, who after having the odds with them last turn lost the initiative and saw the axis get a double impulse at a critical point in time. A loss here would have been even more devastating for the allies. But, the odds were with the allies (72% chance of winning the first roll and, if necessary a 64% of winning a re-roll, which gave the allies a cumulative 89.92% chance of winning).

All doubt removed when the allies win the first roll thanks to the +2 modifier.

USN. Pacific. China Sea (1/2). USN aggressively moves a two carrier task force into the China Sea looking to sink Japanese supply and goods convoys. Japan responds to cover their vulnerable convoys by reacting three naval and one fighter air wing.
