My TOAW 4 game was running fine until it began opening up at the launch with everything black in the background. You can see the game as it is supposed to be except the screen is black background. Something stutters in my computer and for a flash millisecond you can see my desktop and then the screen just continues black with all the text for the game....in fact at first you can click on the game like play or options and it reacts like it would when the screen is a normal green color. I tried verifying files ...says successful always and I reinstalled the game but oddly enough the music which I turned off never came back on when the screen opened and it turned black. I could hear the mouse clicks so why wouldn't the game go back to default if I reinstalled it. Maybe I should uninstall it from my program files on my comp. instead of from steam. I am baffled by this. The game was running perfect. My guess is something has interrupted from something in the background but I haven't installed anything new. Also no I cannot see any units and the game just crashes if you try to go ahead and see if it improves. This is not like just a black screen where you see nothing by the way...I don't know if that matters. What about going into the game files? Anyone else have this problem ever.Any thoughts on this or advice would be appreciated. Thanks greenmoray1
