Use Oil. Western Allies. Oil is actually becoming an issue for the Western Allies. Not in terms of being to reorg all their unit, but in terms of not having enough to reorg all their units and achieve full 100% production (as you shall see).

Liberation. Persia. The British were able to, through return to base, get a cavalry corps into Barndar Shapur so they control they port and the surrounding hexes. However, control of two railway hexes between there and Cesear HQ-I changed to German control, which means that the HQ-I and two (near) adjacent infantry corps are out of supply until the British can flip control of the two railway hexes back to the allies.

Germany stops sending oil to Vichy, who has 2 oil points saved and which is more than enough. Germany sends 4 non-oil resources to Vichy, which gets all 4 Vichy factories producing. In return, Vichy sends all their BP's (7 from the factories and 4 saved) back to Germany for safe keeping.

Not wanting to give the allies a double move two turns in a row, the axis demand a re-roll after losing the first roll, win the second roll and elect (of course) to move first.

Looks like the Red Army is back on it�s feet. The Tank Destroyer divisions are their most potent unit in this part of the game.

But I don�t understand their fascination with twin-engine FTR. Now, it is time to unleash the Sturmoviks...especially the ones with rockets.

One behaviour I do have to question is the tendency to leave divisions around by themselves.

It's probably fine for the US and CW ones in Turkey given the relative paucity of Axis units... for now. And it's certainly fine anywhere enemy units can't reach. But if memory serves there have been several instances where divisions have been out by themselves and attacked, although goodness knows on which pages of the AAR they can be found now. If the Axis weren't going first in ND43, that panzer division of Germany's that got left by itself after a 1/1 land combat would be doomed, and the USSR is now guaranteed to lose an expensive armour divison as shown on the previous page (post 2062).

Turn 26. Nov/Dec 1943. Axis #1.

Action. Japan. Though the supply lines to the Japanese armies in the south (of China) are in trouble, the Japanese Imperial Navy (IJN) finally made enough noise about not having a full naval, and desperately needing one, in a couple of turns that the Japanese high command in opposition to the army granted the IJN their wish. Japan is taking a naval. The IJA will just have to deal with the situation in the south, whateever it might be, next axis impulse.

Action. Germany. A bold plan unfolds at OKH to destroy the allied enclave hugging the southern coast of France. This bold plan is kicked off by playing an offensive chit with Guderian (to double land combat factors) and targeting two of the allied bridgeheads in the enclave for destruction. Field Marshall Goering, head of OKL, has pledge the full support of all available Luftwaffe wings to the operation.

Both Germany and Italy take a land.
