That is correct. I only updated the DB3000 descriptions, due to time issues. CWDB descriptions will be updated in late June 2019

Have the images been recompressed or something like that?

The April packs are significantly smaller than my current January ones.

When I try to dowload the CWDB images file I get a warning from the antivirus and the download is cancelled.
Does anybody has the same or similar error?.
I guess that is a false positive.

I show the compressed 3 January 2019 DB3000 upload as being 1.64 GB in size, and the 30 April 2019 upload being 1.86 GB in size, so the most recent update is larger, although not markedly so.

Thanks, but I can't take all the credit. Kgambit has been doing A LOT of the images. I've waved off doing much of the image work and am trying to get the descriptions and some of the facility/weapons images done. I am also the "public face" of the team that does this project. A .txt file with all the contributors is in the download.

If you downloaded from the Warfare Sims website, http://www.warfaresims.com/?page_id=1876 you got what was uploaded. I don't know why it is showing up as being that large, as I'm not an expert on compression software and webpages. Sorry.

EDIT: Solved mystery, those packs of mine had both photos and silouette drawings. The new ones are photos only. Will switch anyway since I'm no fan of the drawings myself.

I have the new images applied but I can't get any of the descriptions to appear in the database viewer. Are these the correct paths for those files?

Looks correct; that is where mine are... btw (when I first unzipped I had an extra folder in each ie DB3000 inside DB3000 and they didn't work.) Just guessing as to what could be wrong.

The description package is not nearly as complete as the image package. In other words, there are a lot of gaps in the descriptions. I have been emphasizing radars and weapons and SAM systems over ships/aircraft/subs. Because of this, you may simply be seeing a gap in the coverage. To test, see if you have a description file for the SA-10a GRUMBLE weapon (DB3000 Weapon_403). If you do, you have the latest DB 3000 description package.

Hey CV 60... did my image pack make it out? Just curious... if you chose not to use it, that is okay.
One of the reasons I ask was I was thinking about putting out a 'symbols pack' for the facilities... Nato/UN/German symbols for hangers, trains, electric etc.

I submitted your line drawings as part of the April 30 update, but as an optional part of the update. When you download the update do they show up in the file? (I don't actually download the update, as I always have the most up to date version). Let me know if they don't and I'll see if I can get that corrected

I apologize for hijacking this thread and if this question has been answered already. I have search for several hours to find a solution to what I am doing wrong. I am new to Command and just downloaded the files DB3000 and CWDB. I placed them in the images folder following this path C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Command Modern Air Naval Operations\DB\Images. None of the images will show. I have uninstalled command and reinstalled still no joy! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Go to
File/Game/Game Options
and make sure the "Display Unit Status Image" box is checked

Do you have a separate folder for the DB3000 images and the CWDB images? ie
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Command Modern Air Naval Operations\DB\Images\DB3000

and

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Command Modern Air Naval Operations\DB\Images\CWDB

with the images for DB3000 and CWDB placed in their proper respective folders?

This is how they are in their folders.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Command Modern Air Naval Operations\DB\Images\CWDB

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Command Modern Air Naval Operations\DB\Images\DB3000

I did notice the there is an extra space between Air and naval. Will correct that and see if that makes a difference.

Try this: select all images inside CWDB and DB3000 folders in the \DB\Images folder and delete them all, then select and copy all the new images from the folders you downloaded and paste them in the corresponding folders. I found out that deleting the old images instead of overwriting them prevents some problems with mismatched units. Also check that the pictures are in the first level, meaning that you should see the pictures when you open the \DB\Images\CWDB and DB3000 folder, they should not be nested inside another folder. The name of the folders must also be correct. Those you downloaded will be named "30 April 19-DB3000" and this isn't recognized by the program, the folders must be renamed DB3000 and CWDB (or you can just copy-paste the images inside them instead of moving the entire folder like I described at the beginning of this post).

Can you post an image of your file structure? Make it look something like this, so the path and the images are visible. Also, I assume you are using the Steam version of the game as opposed to the Matrix version of the game. Is this correct? The paths are slightly different between the two.
