The second day of night raids, shows some Oscars switched over to night cap and they do wonders, but of course I lose 4. Oscars are the worst for night CAP, but I had to switch fighters present to get any CAP to fly at all. So this is why some people sour on night bombing. Yesterday a punishing manpower attack at 2000 feet with many hits but no points scored. And today's attack frustrated, in part due to night cap and also bad weather. Moonlight was 60%. Now, it would have been a different story if the bombers would have targeted industry directly. In other news, we down 7 four engine beasts attacking the port at Okinawa.
