I've seen it many times in AARs. Build up interior India airfields, import planes and engineers from US, study Sigint to catch signs of invasions, and prepare for the push in like early 43. Elsewhere more or less the same, reinforcing key atolls in the Pacific, waiting for the assets to accumulate and airfields to build in Australia, training pilots. In the first half of 42 the only fun PBEM Allies can have is trying to catch Japan's overextended invasions with surface ships and occasional CVs. With lurking fear of KB
