“Two submarines wrecked off the coast of Malaysia during World War II have mysteriously disappeared.”

“The seafloor around Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore is littered with more than 100 shipwrecks from World War 2”

I'm afraid I don't read the NY Post. I do rank it well above the Express.UK, though. Remember that TV series, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea? It had the monster of the week routine. The Express.UK has an asteroid of the week routine. Every week, a new asteroid has been discovered that's just about to smash into the Earth and bring an end to human civilization.

Nothing will ever beat these two headlines from this British newspaper!

I have no doubt it was "exclusive".

By the way, this was actually Britain's biggest glamour model.

So, how do you like the UK Guardian?
https://theworldnews.net/gb-news/dutch-wwii-submarine-wrecks-disappear-from-malaysian-seabed

I had already guessed based on your knowledge in threads that you were a CNN, NY Times, Washington Post type of Gorn.

All three of those have a much worse record for truth than the NY Post.

No comment on your comment, but I've even given a small contribution to the Guardian, I have no problem with it. You might want to study the Time's long history giving us facts here https://timesmachine.nytimes.com/browser/

They don't always have it right, for instance Judith Miller and the lead up to the Second Gulf War.

Thanks for spoiling this thread.

Here's an attempt to undo that.

The salvage of shipwrecks in shallow waters was discussed 2 or 3 years ago on this forum. We all bemoaned the disturbance or war graves but the fact remained that some hungry Indonesians were going to earn income in whatever way they could. Some crudely used dynamite to try and break up the wrecks and made a tangled mess with on a few pieces small enough to salvage.
Point is, it is not new news.

I don't think that was the UK's largest model. I couldn't persuade the real largest model to pose for a picture but she did let another lady show off her (largest model) knickers ...

I'm just curious why she's holding the stethoscope to her diaphragm? Is she trying to auscult for borborygmi?

You are looking at the stethoscope? I'm blind to that.

But....now that you mention it, the stethoscope is not in her ears.

You learn something everyday. I thought it was some sort of emergency sewing kit to repair the buttons on her dress that somehow mysteriously burst open?

Her name is Michelle Thorne. Her early work is excellent. At some point she became somewhat fake, but that's ok. Later she hasn't aged well, and doesn't seem to be able to even pencil in eyebrows, looking more like a zombie, I'm afraid. But early, she was the cat's meow.

A sewing kit with dissolving thread?

Ah that explains it. When you said glamour model I was thinking page 3. Looks like this young lady is a porn actress so not surprising I've not heard of her.

Well, that could be interpreted to mean you only watch gay porn ...

warspite1

Well yes it could, although if that was my bag (and nothing wrong with that) then I'm not sure why I would have known about, or be interested in, page 3.

But of course a more likely explanation is simply perhaps that I am not a user of porn?

Maybe you should reconsider, warspite1: Doctors say looking at busty women for 10 Minutes a day is good for your health *

Btw, what's that dope about "Horror hubby turns his wife into a coffee table" in post#3?!?

Shouldn't that read "Ingenious hubby..."?

Oh and welcome back, Knavey!

* It's a hoax, unfortunately...

Not necessarily a Hoax.

I’ve found in older men like myself it promotes blood flow to the lower extremities.

I was sitting with the Mrs on the sea front last summer and was staring intently at any passers by with large fun bags. I had only been doing this for a couple of minutes when Mrs W punched me full in the face.

I'm sorry but I fail to see how my health was improved here......

Your Mileage May Vary

I volunteered to be in a scientific study to verify this. Just my luck I got assigned to the control group.

But Oregon is mostly lakes and forests - we have lots of good stuff packed in on this island

...like Michelle Thorne????

p.s. She did sing on X-factor, so not only an actress ...
