Is there a reason that every turn in my game as Soviet my SB-2's won't bomb units? My tactical bombers show up to bomb units but I can't get any level bombers to do it.

-Miles flown are zero
-Try to do this right at start of turn
-Airbases have fuel and ammo
-Airbases are in range of enemy units
-Percentage to fly is set to 20%, bomber are fully ready, set ground attack to 100
-Airbases have not moved
-Night missions are OFF

???

Has anyone encountered this? None of my level bombers will fly

What is their Air Range setting?

There isn't one, it's unlimited.

I reloaded the save and night missions were on, I flipped them to OFF and miles flown went to 100%. I will report back if this fixes it.

However with night missions ON, when I turn off escorts they still won't fly. Can't SB-2 do night missions or is that all automated by the AI for night missions?

They should be able to fly next turn. If you change from day/night, they cannot fly during that turn.

I think they should be able to do night missions, how are their miles looking?

Is this manual bombing or auto Ground Support etc?

and do they appear on the list of selectable squadrons?

(if not check your airbase to hq hierarchy; it should be flat)
