Is there any effect of taking an option for the scenario on victory points received? I am currently playing without taking options my first time through. I have played two scenarios and got DV's each time for 4 campaign points each. If an option had been taken would you still get 4 points for a DV or 3?

Yes, the points remain the same, even if you choose an option. You might want to try some of those options, or at least look at them. Many of them are very different types of battles. A decisive victory gives you 4 or 5 points and it goes down from there. A minor defeat will usually give you one point. Your accumulation of points will determine your final victory. Wild Bill
