I think it is pretty obvious that we are down the Wargame (you know, the Eugen game) road. This would mean that at some point we will end up with their country roster (at least for Europe). Fair enough. Canada, Czechoslovakia, the Dutch, the Norwegians, probably the Danes.

Now, I was wondering, if at some point we could see the two forgotten/overlooked countries regarding a war in central Europe, namely Austria and Hungary. The Hungarians would have ended up fighting the Italians anyway, and the Austrians (disclaimer: I am a member of that alpine species, so my interest might not be purely academic) were de facto CENTAGs right flank (much to the dismay of NATO planners).

I know that the ÖBH (the Austrian Federal Army) was not exactly known for its powerful armored formations and the MN (the Hungarian People's Army) was a far cry from the A-list NSWP nations farther north (NVA, CSLA, LWP), but the terrible terrain that the Hungarians (and by extension the YuGV) had to deal with and the Austrian's intended operational doctrines (at least in the 78-94 timeframe) would make for very interesting scenarios; probably also necessitating additions to AB regarding obstacles, fortified positions and engineering.

On a serious note, it is very likely our next DLC will be outside of Europe. It is indeed the plan that whole of Europe is covered eventually, although Austria and Hungary are lower on that list.

Fair enough. I guess I will have to do it myself, but not in the immediate future.

And kudos for the Kaiser. There is still a bronze bust of him at my faculty which I walk by every day. Yes, our glory days, both military as well as scientific, are long gone by...

Likely Arab-Israeli wars. We would like to venture a bit into historical conflicts.
