Soldier names change in between battles (or possibly between operations). They tend to duplicate, so now I have two MG sections with almost identical names - same with mortar sections, etc. Not a huge deal but not great for immersion.

I will add it to the bug list and see if we can repeat. Thanks.

Cheers

Pip

historysteve,

Have you been saving and/or loading saved games while in battle?

Thanks,

Steve

Thanks for the information.

There is an issue with loading in-battle saves that I'm working on fixing now. I believe the name issues are being caused by this and you can avoid it by not saving during battle until the problem is resolved.

Also, it looks like the Iatalian soldiernames/troop types are either wraped or on two lines showing half and half like in a row between the half letter shown.

Does anyone know where in the game data one can find the name files? I'd like to add several as I'm already starting to see a lot of repeats only a few battles into the grand campaign.

Stats of Ad-Hoc teams are also bugged. I split a rifle team to scouts, received over 5+ kills and a expert marksmanship award. The next battle, the guys name changed and he was in a machine gun hq squad with no battle history. Then the mission after tgat he was in a BAR squad. Plus his bame changed each time too.
