Status: offline 		So my choices are use my green under strength militia to try and eliminate the current threat but damage my long term build up or wait and hope my reinforcements arrive 1st.....

After all, if they succeed in landing they will send more base force types for you to kill.





Never mind, it's the AI. It will send the base forces for you to kill even if the initial invasion fails.

Status: offline 		So I have landings in Ceylon and both islands of NZ and the one on the South Island has a foothold and all I have are 2 weak militia Brigades

The US 27th Div is passing Christmas Island o I may be able to hold Dunedin

Status: offline 		Burma corpus just got bounced out of. Mandalay and is running for the Assam border

Ceylon and Nz are invaded carrier fleets are heading in both directions and I don’t have much to stop them

Status: offline 		This is the challenge the NZ Bdes both of them have recently upgraded small arms so they are now not militia Sections BUT the experience is very low despite high morale my both 3rd and 12th Bdes have to hold until relieved !!!

I have detached the two fastest transports and 2 DD's into a fast TF capable of covering 400 miles a day that TF will try to arrive hopefully before the nick of time !!!

Status: offline 		I decided to send most of my TF's south to see what was going on and not risk them in the teeth of an unknown air threat 40,000 soldiers on the convoys were too big a risk

the 6,000 in the lead element went straight to Dunedin and it looks like this was the right call...no bombers at Invercargill

However...
Point one heavy metal back in the SOPAC last night but attacking the North Island

Status: offline 		The made it 2 Regiments of thr 27th Div unloaded over the docks direct at Dunedin the gamble payed off South Island is porbably safe … but no follow Divs what if this wa s diversion and I have just wsent my reinforcements to the wrong Island

Status: offline 		Was going to point out that Desmond opens up a faster route to Christchurch, but that seems moot with IJN Fleet Carriers inbound.

With enemy carriers circling the islands you definitely won't be able to unload those divisions.

May be best to diver them to Suva and/or Pago Pago to secure those while fighting it out in NZ with what you have on hand and whatever emergency reinforcements you get.

Securing either of those two island bases and getting some base forces and engineers inbound to them for a build up may allow them to become springboards for a move back to NZ once you can muster up some carriers.

Getting something to Tahiti might not be a bad idea either.

It looks like I can unload whatever I want on the South Island which may mean that I have just been suckered by my own AI....

Status: offline 		POW, Indomitable and Hermes are covering the 6th Aus Div and 2nd NZ Div Troop Convoy en route to Perth
The R class BB's are concentrating at Bombay as they are to slow to risk around Clombo except in direst need
Idaho is covering an important convoy to Christmas island
New Mexico and Mississippi are covering the 41st and rest of 27th ID convoy in SOPAC
Lexington and Enterprise are covering the Rarotonga to Christmas Island leg of my convoy routes and getting ready to support the Tahiti operation

The cupboard is a tad empty

Status: offline 		Going to take the risk USS New Mexico and USS Mississippi with the Cruiser Trenton and 10 Destroyers will fight their convoy through to Wellington with 41st US Inf Div plus supports on board all 4 Fighter Sqns in NZ will cover the convoy

Status: offline 		Aye too true just did my mandatory very hard 4 turn without looking one a quarter rule and got away with it !!!

(I put the AI on Very Hard and run a 4 day turn once every three months mandatory rule no matter what is going on and I have to live with whatever happens)

Just ran it and apart from a couple of transports getting hit at Wellington....this time nothing else went wrong..

Ceylon the Japanese have 25k men ashore at Koggala but I have them stalled with 18th British and 9th Indian Divs holding them

If your shipyards are at capacity, you can speed the repairs somewhat by putting ships with high System damage in pierside repair first - less drain on SY points in the long run and it may speed the repair of the ships remaining in the yards.

Be sure to guard the rail base east of Perth (Cunderdin?) - the Japanese love to take it with paras to isolate Perth.

It is much better to defend at Trincomalee than at Colombo because of the terrain. The disadvantage is the approach for your convoys is on the wrong side of the island, but it is unlikely now that you will get a chance to bring in supply or reinforcements anyway.

Status: offline 		Well it’s been a bad few weeks

Let’s start with Burma well I cut the retreat from Burma to long and got caught on the Mandalay line Bur Div and 5th Chinese Army are wrecked as the Japanese pursued relentlessly my defences at Assam and Chittagong are weak 1 Div plus an armoured bde supported by arty and engineers

Ceylon 70000 Japanese ashore at Koggala and a lot of really heavy Artillery had to pull 9th Indian Div off the line as too many disablements and replace it with a couple of Bdes the forts are holding but the carriers stop reinforcements and my surface task forces from stopping the buildup my prep is for Colombo or I would maybe try to stand at Trincomalee as it stands I think I am going to have to abandon the beaches and pull back

New Zealand has been quiet I retook Invercargill and Desmond and the Japanese continue to raid with light carriers but starting to feel like I got suckered into reinforcing (at great cost) NZ

Northern Australia full scale invasion underway I am withdrawing I cannot stand off the rail line given the state of my Australian Divs I am pretty sure I can stop em cold. Given I have 51st highland div 2nd NZ div and 11th Indian Div reinforcing 6th Aus Div

When my armoured force is at full strength I will retake the North

Manila is out of supply so the end will be soon
