Still working on fleshing out the first scenario. Planning for it to be pretty basic and as new user friendly as possible. Should be done fairly soon.

Ok, here is the first scenario in the new Silver Lions Scenario pack. It's a little rough still but good enough to be released.

AB Scenario: The Balloon Goes Up!

US Army Advance vs. Soviet Defend
September 3, 1985
(ASP #4) near Baumholder, Federal Republic of Germany

OVERVIEW: You are the commander of D Company, 2/68 AR, a US tank heavy company team (Team Delta) and part of Task Force 2/68 Armor (Silver Lions). Your unit is organized as follows:

TASK ORGANIZATION:

****D/2/68 AR
****3/C/1/13 IN

1) SITUATION:
WW3 has finally erupted between NATO and the Warsaw Pact. During the night, NATO and Pact aircraft battle for air superiority as NATO ground forces initiate their �General Defense Plans� to counter Pact forces surging across the border. As the night progresses and the air battle rages overhead, the Soviets have been able to conduct low altitude air assault strikes deep into NATO rear areas in an attempt to disrupt NATO reinforcements from moving east to defensive positions along the West German frontier.

2) MISSION:
Team Delta of Task Force 2/68 AR is tasked to secure ASP #4 which is the Ammo Storage Point for 2nd Brigade, 8th Infantry Division. ASP #4 is located northeast of the town of Reichenbach and just outside of the Baumholder Maneuver Training Area. Intelligence reports indicate that sometime around 0300A Soviet forces were inserted into the area by helicopter and were able to occupy ASP #4 after having driven off a small US security force. S-2 believes the enemy force is a Parachute company from the 900th Air Assault Squadron and is supported by elements of the 298th Independent Helicopter Squadron.

3) EXECUTION:
Team Delta will move from their Staging Area (NB 079383) NLT 0630A. Team Delta will advance north, destroying all enemy forces encountered, to seize and occupy ASP #4 (NB 070363) as well as set up a defensive position at BP Lady Lionheart (NB 074368) NLT 0730A.

Enjoyable, if you release more I will certainly play them.

Oddity: The game kept going when I reached Tactical Victory, no ending screen. No idea if it�s the mission or the game bugged out.

Thanks for the feedback.

I've been playing with the points to affect the game length and I may have tweaked it to far. Still trying to figure out how all the different settings affect each other.

It was fun game, I had major victory. I wish I had at least one section of mortar and more infantry, but I guess the current setting was intentional, right?

To me, fast transition of formation and load/unload micromanagement was key to success. I saved all infantry only 3 casualty, but I lost 4 tanks, 2 were immobilized.

After I cleared both VPs, I thought I cleared Russians from AO, but I was wrong, I saw ASP#4 reoccupied again
