It's great that CMO is coming out soon, although I have to say that I probably won't buy it right away, just because I'm not that interested in modern warfare.

There are been some references to WWII content, but nothing about timing, theater, etc. Could anyone provide any news about WWII?

I think the fact they didn't say anything is news by itself. I think you can also expect that if there was any real news, it would be a pretty big discussion point. And if it was solid product news, I imagine it would be in the news section.

Fair enough, but they must have something with WWII in their plans given previous statements. Would love to have some kind of idea what they have in mind.

In any event, CMO is coming out more quickly than I expected; depending on what else I end up buying in the next few months and what kind of discount is provided for CMANO customers, there's a good chance I'll pick this up as well.

I also read that WW2 hint...which also makes this hit my want list.

Need armor on ship, visual smoke screen impairment and other WWII thing implement.

Be cool if modder make UI skin for too. More like WW2 plot that update much slower.

Any WW2 scenario in the works? There are far greater ambitions for WW2 than merely a few scenarios, so stay tuned!

That is the only official piece of information i could find.

Guess they are planning a spin-off game with a WW2 database.

Hopefully it's just DLC

Yeah, that's pretty much it, but it seems like they have some kind of definite plans. I'd also prefer a DLC to a separate game, but I don't know if that is feasible. I would take it either way, though.

trying to decide whether to get CMO...with the discount for CMANO owners it is very reasonable but I'm still not sure I will play enough to make it worth it...

It would be helpful to know if the WWII content will consist of DLCs to use with CMO or if it will be a separate, stand-alone game? If it will be via DLC I'll buy CMO today, otherwise I might wait for the stand-alone WWII game. Any guidance on that issue?
