Hi everybody,

WarPlan has been updated to version v1.00.02

 Added A.I. declaration of war on Italy when they have 100% status.
 Added $DeclareWar command to event scripts
 Added $if_NegotiatedSurrender command to event scripts
 Fixed typos on the map
 Fixed border of Netherlands and Belgium

 Fixed map shift buttons in editor
 Removed auto naming when saving game
 Timer on popup messages set to 5 seconds with a close button
 Added messaging to political attemps at intimidation
 Improved A.I. defense in North Africa and in UK

 Fixed overrunning neutral air units
 Land units now move to closest hex when in neutral territory or get destroyed
 Fixed wrong manpower maintanance showing

 Fixed wrong mechanized unit technology
 Added historical minefields to the east coast of England and Germany
 Removed major powers from being influenced by diplomacy

 Slightly improved on toggle image

 Reduced German and Italian landing craft from 40 to 10
 Minor Power's escorts added to the major controller's pool
 Moved menu panel items up 30 pixels to fit better on 1366x768 windowed mode
 Fixed air offensive operation point cost use. It was using double.
 Fixed German bomber tech in Prussia 1939 scenario
 Fixed Russian mech and armor tech in 1939 scenario
 Fixed countries having influence points at start of 1939 scenario
 Fixed surrendered nation build queue not clearing
 Fixed influence point gains

With the bolstered French forces, is there any penalty to invade Luxembourg and Belgium on turn1 (or in the early turns)?
Because France can just do that, and gain river positions and forests.
Also - on top of that - when Germans liberate Bruxelles (for instance) it counts as occupied and not owned. (Pratically Belgium in that instance would see Germany as a liberating country - and should give full production. Maybe even reactivate as Axis minor with produceable units, etc).

Not sure what warranted the reduction of landing crafts of the Axis to just a division size - I take it's to delay a landing in Norway then and demanding some production investment. Or mostly to avoid a premature Sealion.

I am curious as well about compatibility of games.

I just went a head and updated anyway (we used to do it in beta testing so why not).

First thing I noticed is when I went into Multiplay I had to resubmit my credentials, no biggy, just be aware that your credentials will have to be re-input.

Going to test an ongoing PBEM++ game now and delete all solo games and start a new one and see what happens.

The French forces are just the ones taken off the deployment queue and put directly on the map.

France can DOW on Belgium if they like on the 1st turn but that would be pretty foolish.

4th time clicking the link worked! I notice that the update has a 10/25/2019 date on it? That can't be right. The game was released on the 24th!

Mouse scroll hardly works now, however fast I set the options, right click and drag still works.

Absolutely, game was biased toward axis so needed to handicap. Sarcasm. Bug apparently in update?

Found that you have to get the mouse close to the edge of the window for it too scroll, as soon as you are outside the window it will stop, I run the game in windowed mode, before the update you could do this, Trying to go up in the map is the hardest, was handy when moving long distances, very frustrating, the game is unplayable to me like this.

I found if you crank up the scroll (not all the way) and use the arrow keys it works fine. Mouse will not work for me.

I am trying to figure out what exactly is the issue.

I didn't change the queue.

I started a new game and the Axis deployments were there as always. I only have the game in one spot.

Someone PM me and email me the 1939 Scenario game from their end. I wonder if this got messed up in packaging the update.

The Mouse HOLD scroll works fine as it did before.

The map scroll works fine except its tighter. Here is the deal on that. If you have a windowed game the map scrolling isn't going to work well.
Some will say the gap it's too tight. If I extended it off the game others will say when they move off the game window it doesn't stop the map scrolling. There is no between on this. You should be in full screen mode if you want to use map scrolling. The settings before were too much of a border causing problems with buttons.

Am I misreading these issues?

I'll see if I can extend it on to the desktop a little.

By what I experienced the queue disappears - not sure if on a new turn, or if on a new turn after something is added to the queue - but I just know it disappears, and it makes the game unplayable right now.

The mouse scrolling somehow has some new 'settings' that I've not changed, for instance in windowed mode now I've to 'nitpick' the split between the game map and the 'windowing' bar; whereas earlier I could just shove the map at the upper end of the screen and the map moved.

A couple of other bugs I know of that are not on the fixed list.

The overlay map for Victory Point Hexes is wrong for Hamburg and Prague, were they fixed?

Also the Advancements for Attack Submarine, shows an increase in defence for 1 in 1939.
