Here are results from 1st turn in the north
Advance is poor but first line has been shattered
Only a Mechanized division is trapped.

I will have to keep units in the rear against partisans.

more units are isolated.
I didn't attack Grodno, this will be made later.
Bialystok has been cut off too.

Brest has been taken, survivors are stacked in one hex.

air losses are small
I don't used them much as they begin partially depleted and few supply

tank losses are light, they conducted few attacks

some formations took rail as they were far from the front (noted in blue)
again few divisions begging after supply

progression will be greater next time

in the north, we come close to Jelgava

the Russian division along the coast will leave by boat
there is always some units to move by rail

air losses are poor 8 vs 60

most of the defenders flee our advance
I'm trying to maximize moves by motorized units
when i found a stack as a Rifle division
it will be treated later by pursuing infantry
I can try an assault if they are on clear hex
not much more as replacement are few for airplanes and tanks

Slovak send us a brigade and few planes
advance continue but we meet some resistance on some places

we try to gain much rail to keep some infantry in the front
Red bubble are soviet isolated units
Blue are units moving by rail

Rumania Cavalry corp has been activated
2 Finnish division and Jagers too

AGN

most of my rail capacity has been used in this sector.
93 Infantry (arrived this turn) and 217 Infantry moved to Riga
12 Infantry will reinforce behind Motorized

I took some height this turn to show a bit more of the front

there was no defense in the city
23 Rifle division will be isolated

1st SS brigade is the only unit moved by rail (with exception of her reconnaissance unit)

few air losses 7 vs 114 (about 2 airfields bombs) and some support

17 Rifle division will beg supply

a bit same thing: 125 Infantry used rail to support the advance

Hungary become active, first units are visible in the deep south

few units are encircle: 26 Army, 37 Tank division, another Rifle HQ and few regiments.

this turn was burn by failed proficiency check after 1st round of attacks

the pocket in the north will disappear
Minsk is our hand, they were no defenders

197 Infantry was moved by rail

72 Infantry used rail
only part of reinforcement can be moved like this as about 10 divisions arrived this turn

some units crossed the Bug
sole action was to bombard Fortified Region in preparatory to assault which didn't happened

part of Rumania army is frozen until Bessarabia is retaken

advance is not much different than first try

we used the last version of FITE 2
less overrun were possible
only 2 divisions will be isolated
I made few airfield attack

285 Security division used rail
287 points not used on 6 000

Grodno and Bialystok are bypassed and will beg supply

during Russian turn, 3rd Army attacked a recco unit and disappeared

remains from units in Brest-Litovsk and around are stacked in a hex

fight was heavy to break defensive line

this sector will keep most of isolated units

as before, most of rail capacity has been used here

we expect more advance on the next few days
infantry will take place of motorized units in contact

I don't remind the fraction for air combat, only mine are real

about 2 divisions stay in Bialystok
another Mechanized is in Volkovysk

our partisan pushed an AA unit from Tarnopol

2 infantry division and the Slovak brigade used rail to follow our lead units

some of the Russians are trapped
others are running for their live

23 Infantry used rail but a bridge (destroy) prevent our move to reinforce Riga

we now have control of the 3 objectives for turn 6

1st Mountain used rail to reinforce Hungary

near Sambor a isolated stack consist of:
26 Army HQ
an Artillery regiment
2 infantry regiment and
a Divisional HQ

infantry losses begin to amount

Polizei arrived this turn and moved by rail to few hexes from Daugavpils

I lost 2 planes for none of them

I wanted to show more ground

Rumania has crossed the Prut
Most of the ground near Hungary is converted

100 Jager has been placed on rail line for next time
they will reinforce Hungary, which has already 1st Mountain

Status: offline 		Very interested in your AAR in this, as I am Soviets in a game against USER...
we are also just finished turn 3 ... Germans are in Riga,
but AGS / AGC is meeting heavy resistance.

In Minsk, will fall next turn probably ...
Kiev is getting heavy reinforcements, though.

My Southern Front seems to be doing better.
Central / North Fronts are looking very sketchy for Soviets.

OTOH, my opp. has mentioned that force proficiency checks have been hamstringing German battle plans ....
any advice for my opp., from your experience so far?

PS: we made a house rule in our game that up to 10 air units could fly interdiction...
I haven't noticed much difference from that b/w "no interdiction allowed"

about 600 rail kept from 6 000
part of infantry continue to follow the advance

I will have to keep 6 divisions in Rumania
some will stay in face of Bulgaria
one will keep Constanta and such things

as Russia leaved the ground, I don't know if we will have to fight for Odessa
