WCS land is greyed out being set to tight and cannot be changed. Why?

We need more information than that, include a save at the very least.

Most likely your unit has no compatible weapons on which a policy can be based.

Are you an air superiority fighter? A Cessna 172? A weather buoy?

It's got nothing to do with missions, it's the sides doctrine wcs land is greyed out. All other scenarios I've tried it isn't. This leads me to think it's been deliberately done for what ever strange reason. I wanted to know if this is possible and just remembered you can edit sceanrios. After doing so, yes it is diabled.

It sounds like the scenario editor has locked that doctrine option (possibly inadvertently).

What would make it really easy to tell is a save game.

You don't need a save, just open the scanario. Peeling the Onion in Strike tutorial. In cas it's mu macjine here the save as the scenario starts.

I've been fiddling.

I went into the editor and ticked the little box by the side of the WCS land option. Too me this should enable the option to be used. I saved and ran but it didn't work still unable to change it.

Went into the editor again and the box was unticked? I ticked it again and set WCS land to hold. Save etc and WCS land was now hold BUT I still could not change it in game.
