I am experiencing a problem with the shown range both in the Range / Bearing tool and the shown range from selected unit in the information box by the mouse cursor. Has anybody else experienced this? WHEN DO THE PROBLEM OCCUR: The problem is omnipresent (In other words it occurs in all scenarios and with all units and all the time) so I don't know what good a save would do which is why I am posting this in general and not in tech support. It has been present for me since the game was released and is still there in build ...8.1 DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM WITH SHOWN RANGE FROM SELECTED UNIT: When i for instance select a unit and want to know the range from it and then starts to move the cursor away from it the "x,xxnm from sel" in other words the "<distance> from sel<ected unit>", always first counts out about the first 1500 meters correctly, sometimes all the way to 1851 meters but then things get strange. As i move the cursor further away than 1500 meters it stops showing a continually increasing value and instead at some point it suddenly jumps to, most often, 1.19 nm and then that value is shown until it instead suddenly shows 1.68 nm, and then 2,37 nm, then 2,65 nm and on with what are obviously faulty ranges without any particular patterns, ie in a erratic fashion until I reach the 10 nm value after which after it seems to be working correctly. Sometimes, especially when i move the cursor very slow or are at a very low camera height (About 5000 m) it's like the range flickers and it might for a second show 1,04 nm even after I it has first shown 1,19 nm, then show 1,19 nm again and then flicker back to 1,06 nm and then back to 1,19 nm and then 1,09 nm and so on. I guess that those flickering values are the real ones. When moving the cursor faster it always jumps from somewhere around approx 1500-1851 m to 1,19 nm and as I continue to move the cursor the value will either stay at 1,19 nm and suddenly shift to 2,37 nm or it will flicker between 1,19 and 1,68 nm (And sometimes what I assume are the correct value) and this behavior continues up to 10 nm. When the cursor is still it will always show the same value, ie no flickering values and no jumping from 1,68 to 1,19 nm and back and so on. PROBLEM WITH RANGE / BEARING TOOL: This is certainly related to the problem mentioned above. The bearing is shown correctly but the range will be shown in "steps" as above but with less, but not completely absent, flickering. That is to say the meters are counted out until approx 1500-1851 m has passed and it will then either A) show the same pattern of distances as above, ie 1,19 nm, then 1,68 nm, then 2,37 nm and so on with less, but not absent, flickering or B) it will show erratic values of the type 2,1 nm, jump to 2,2, jump to 2,5, jump to 2,7, jump to 3,0, jump to 3,1 nm and so on, with no inherent pattern, but always increasing with distance. After 10 nm the tool seems to work fine. Do anybody recognize this? Do anybody have any suggestions? PS. I run Win 10, fully updated, latest graphics driver, computer working fine etc.
