ORIGINAL: Randomizer Steam users have full access to the Community Scenario Pack. Non-Steam users have zero access to the Steam Workshop scenarios. Have brought this up several times over the years but sadly this scenario access imbalance has been either ignored or poo-poohed away by the CMANO establishment. Don't hold your breath waiting for Steam scenarios unless you join Steam. -C It really seems like you feel cheated out of something here, and I can't understand why. Like others have pointed out, owning C:MANO or C:MO means you have a Steam key to use to access the game through Steam, which means you have just as much opportunity to access Steam content as anyone else. I know from previous posts that you feel really strongly about not using Steam, which is fine. What I really struggle to comprehend, however, is the concept that your refusal to use Steam means that other people should collect the Steam content and deliver it to you. If it was official content I would understand--and I'm sure you've seen that all official content is available on Steam and via Matrix--however, it's not. It's community generated, which means the creator can distribute it in whatever manner they please. This is analagous to paying for a subscription to watch CNN on cable, while adamantly staying off the internet. No issue there, it's personal preference. What would be bizarre and confusing would be watching CNN on cable, and being annoyed with CNN because you know that there's user generated commentary on their website and no-one is printing it out and bringing it to you. You are getting what you paid for--and have free access to the extras you want--but the fact that no-one is facilitating your decision to not use a certain service while still wanting access to the content associated with it is somehow irksome? Perhaps there's something I'm missing, because I really struggle to understand what you're upset about.
