Still learning the basics so I think I am miss something simple

Am playing as Allies vs AI. Gibralter has fallen and most of the British merchant fleet is sunk. So I understand resource supplies are cut. However I set up an oil convoy from both US and Russia (1943 everyone at war) and it doesnt seem either supply is connect. Britain has been zero oil for several months with zero stockpile and all fuel units out of supply. Am transferring 100 from US and 60 from USSR. Does it take several months for those custom convoys to get moving across the map? I can understand maybe the US line is cut by subs, but no raids on the USSR - GB route.

Overall great game am having alot of fun so far.

What version are you playing what did it start as? The older versions had a bug that did not let some transfers happen and patches did not fix it if still on the old start.

feels like it might be a bug, but I wasnt sure if there was some sort of lag where it takes several turns to become active

or I had to manually assign the transports after setting up the route
