First off great game. Running on win 10 modern system and moving the map and just general response of the game is sluggish. I tired to run in win 7 compatibility mode but that did not work. Any ideas to make this game run smoother?

Status: offline 		+1 to Adek's recommendation. Specifically I'd start with the cpu2 switch...that seems to solve lots of Win10 issues, did for me.
