Will DW2 have automation settings for everything as well? That was such a game changer for me because I can play different roles, like a leader of the assassins or a diplomat or something. This made me fall in love with the game because I don't like to micromanage everything!!! Another thing that would be a game changer would be to allow ground battles to be more in depth with more options too(because being able to successfully invade a planet just by having bigger numbers it's not really a good way to go) and between MORE RACES AT ONCE. For example, let's say I play as Mortalens and I am at war with Kiadians, and Boskarans are at war with the Kiadians too, and let's say that we both invade the same planet of the Kiadians, so it should be a battle between 3 races. If such a feature would be possible and you could find a way to design it, please consider it. I dream of being able to see a planet invaded by more races at once. If I and an ally would successfully invade a planet, then have an option to be able to negotiate who keeps the planet, and maybe the one who did send more troops and contributed more to the battle would have a better chance to win the "negotiation" since allies would consider it a bit fair to leave the planet to you since you did almost all the job or the other way if they contributed more. However, if the AI insists to keep the planet in question then you can choose to fight your ally for it. We could have a feature that would allow tension to build between me and the AI ally/allies that contributed in the battle or between two ore more AI players that are allies. Also, if you invade an enemy world and an empire that is neutral to you invaded at the same time, you could have the same thing, negotiate or maybe risk a war with them to keep the planet. I think you got the point. Also, another thing...when Special Forces invade a planet it would be nice if you could choose what buildings they would target. The Empire policy needs to be different, because now, if I have my Special Forces recruitment set to very high, I still get very few special forces units and that should not be. If my infantry is set to low and SF to very high, the ratio should be 1:4, so that means 4 times as many SF units compared to infantry.
