Hi, is it possible to play my mp game using 2 different computers?

I accepted a game and played turn one on my laptop but then I logged in and played turn two using my desktop.
For the past couple of days I've been waiting for the email to inform me that turn three is ready but none came and when I checked the game today I find that it is still my turn at the beginning of turn two (on both computers).

So I'm wondering why turn two went AWOL, was it because I played it on a different computer?

It should be possible and I and others have done it. I take it from your description you are playing a server game. I know there is some sort of limit, so if you tried to play a game from 100s of different computers there is some sort of automatic trigger by the hosts as they become suspicious. But at least to play from two computers that should be fine and no problem.

I suppose the question from your description is was there some sort of problem is saving your game at the end of when you last played it? That is a common problem and sounds like what you are describing rather than a problem with multiple computers?

I went to take my turn again and realised that the game had in fact saved before it closed down so it looks like what you're suggesting is what has happened after all.

I travel from the top to the bottom of Australia 4 or 5 times a year and i regularily play the same game on different computers (desktop, laptop), no problems at all. Just remember to keep your game releases in sync.
