"Good Monday" is an oxymoron, like giant shrimp and genuine imitation.

Not quite correct, I believe that you are confused. The examples that you give are totally unlike military intelligence which is a true oxymoron.

At a length up to 40 cm, L. maculata is the largest mantis shrimp in the world.

You know a great deal more than me about oxymorons. Is this from first hand experience?

A class in Logic. I earned an "A" and I really learned how to use language against people.

Since most shrimp are less than 2 cm in length, a shrimp that is up to 20+ times larger is a giant since the word giant is a relative term. As far as a genuine imitation, that simply means that it is not a "Real McCoy" is thus is not as good as the real thing for the purpose that the real thing is used for.

BTW, did you hear about the young man who was found guilty of murdering his parents? His attorney asked for leniency for his client since he was an orphan.

Back in the office this morning and only getting paid for 1 day's work today. Feels like a Monday.

Work is a four letter word that can be quite dirty at times. Play is the same as well.

Did a cool thing yesterday (in more ways than one). Our local water utility has a 1200 gpm (1.7 million gallons a day) leak in a 48" water main. With our karst terrain the leaking water was draining into the cave system and not coming to the surface under pressure where you would get with some non permeable bedrock. We used the very cold morning (sub 20F) and the thermal sensor with our UAV to fly the two mile section of line they had isolated it to and found a "warm" area of ground (approx 40F) where the leak might be. They did some small digging and found water that tested positive for chlorine. Since treated water in the middle of a farmer's field is kind of rare, they figure the leak is in that area and are spending the next couple of days digging up this line and fixing the leak.

No more free irrigation for the farmer.

Apparently in Florida it was so cold that they had a weather warning for lizards falling from trees.
