Got no reply the first time, trying again this time with the latest patch. Ground unit not moving rapidly alternates between stop and cruise. End result, it goes nowhere.

Here's a save.

I'm beginning to get very frustrated with this game. Seems to have endless bugs.

Hi Chris. I tried to move the infantry unit from your save file and can confirm it does not move.
It seems it has something to do with the steep terrain slope it is in. It shows 90% slope.
If I move the same unit (in senario editor mode) to less steep terrain it starts moving with 5kn.
These are my observations only that might help you and I am not saying this is the way it should work either. The developers could explain more about the logic.

Confirmed that the extreme slope is preventing the infantry unit from moving. This is by design. As bostjan said, placing it to smoother terrain will allow it move.

Why is this considered a bug?

Also, "endless bugs"? Really? How about trying e.g. Fallout 4 sometime and then having a frank discussion about bugs?

I'll ask you a question. Do you NOT think it's a bug. They're foot sloggers, they got there they should be able to get out, unless of cause they fell into a fifty foot hole in the ground with shear sides. Doesn't matter which way I point them they cannot move. It's a bug.

You think not going up a 90 deg slope is a bug?

If the game is stupid enough to let them get down there then yes, it's a bug. And as I said it's a hole can't move them in any direction.
