The comments are because the devs were hammered about lack of documentation for five years. They made a concerted effort in CMO to upgrade the docs and better point to where help can be found. And take a look at how many questions you still get that could easily answered by a quick search in the manual. As I have stated numerous times, if you need that kind of basic help to play game, you're playing the wrong game. The game rewards some basic common sense, the willingness to experiment, and doing some VERY basic research. If you want a game where playing a few tutorials and expecting someone to hand hold you until you can win every scenario, you're playing the wrong game. This game covers some seventy years of naval and air warfare. It has 10's of thousands of units across those decades of military development. No company or community can provide the detailed documentation at that scale. Its the price you, as a player, have to pay for having a game of this scale. You get the basics of the interface and how the commands interact. But there is some stuff you'll have to figure out on your own. Wanting to read some basics on naval warfare is a must. You have people playing who don't even understand the basics of the game or the subject. There is a time commitment you are going to have to make to come close to competent. Its the instant gratification syndrome that some people have. They are unwilling to do the basics. I have been playing this game since before release, played some of its predecessors in naval warfare, and read naval warfare books constantly. And even after that, I still don't know probably 90% of what the game is capable of. I spend a lot of time search for info and setting up scenarios to answer questions on my own. Don't expect everyone to be like that, but at a minimum, search the manual and the forum. This game has been around six years and there are six years worth of threads on almost every subject. 80% of the questions can be answered through a quick manual/documentation search or a forum search. I have no issues with someone asking questions, but I have seen more and more new players not doing the basics and expecting the devs to do everything for them. I just got tired of watching the devs trying fix some stuff and then having to take time to answer a question that shouldn't have been asked. Its about a common courtesy of doing a little for yourself before asking someone to take time out of their day to answer a question. AND doing it in a thread where it makes no sense. And people asking questions that make no sense is just icing on the cake. Again, go back and look at your question. Both of the people who replied answered it as you asked it. Take a minute before posting and re-read the question. I can't help it if you don't know how to ask the question.
