Late war, after the Soviets clear the IJA from the Asian mainland, I rail in the US airbase construction engineers and pay to transfer Fusan, and the half dozen or so bases that can build to level 9 on the Korean peninsula, to SWPAC, after which the SWPAC Command HQ, Eighth Air force, and he 8AF sub HQs all go there in the front row (except Fusan - the escort fighters, sweepers, and medium bombers go there). Tiger Force slots in to a couple of level 9 bases just behind. Most of these bases are all within air HQ range of each other, and importantly, Fusan. As a result, coordination is usually good, unless the weather screws things up. Some bomb groups will get lost or or arrive in dribs and drabs, but usually after the day's main raid arrives in large numbers with lots of escorts. Just remember to put some Mustangs at each bomber base, in case isolated weather shuts down Fusan.
