Hi Hubert, hi Bill,

I am happy about your latest release.
Another extraordinary great game.
Exciting, challenging, entertaining - time eater!
Great you are back.

But the 3D graphics are terrible!
In the past, the 3-D graphics were a bit more crisp, but since the release of the SC WWII War in Europe, 3-D soldiers look as if you had put them in the microwave for 60 seconds.
That is also the reason why I pass on SC WWII World in War.

The actual 3 D-graphics - to me an annoying step back in the series.

I also find that the picture graphics in WITP and WITE / W also fuzzy and irritating to look at. There have been some mods to improve the maps but the counters are still fairly poor. I just do not know why they cannot be done better. Otherwise the games are truly excellent. For this game you should try the blue Max mod and potentially look at changing your views on 2D view. In the end when you get used to it the counters on the map look best with symbols rather than this kind of 3D look in my opinion.

That's why I use 2D counters instead. WaW is a fantastic game so I would not let the counters stop you from enjoying it.

The new sprites are generic, while the elder ones looked like the Airfix soldiers of my early youth (schnüff). You could easily recognize the different armies, because the sprites had different posings.

If you have both games.
Can't you just import old sprites into new?
