Hi Guys,

Can you look into windows focus issues, the game seems to experience them quite often. This forces users to double-triple click things like weapons links in a sidebar or being unable to pause using space bar before first clicking on the game screen.

Hi,

We need specific, reproducible examples in order to investigate UI issues.

The problem with the weapon hyperlinks in the sidebar not being clickable when the sim is running has been reported and is under investigation: https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4720520

For the "cannot pause using spacebar" issue, we literally ripped out the entire way the hotkeys were being registered and handled and replaced it with an entirely new system, which (from the feedback we have received so far) seems to work reliably. So if you have come across a case where it's not working, please present a precise step-by-step sequence that recreates the problem.

I realize it sounds pedantic, and apologize in advance, but the nature of software is that the tiniest difference in conditions or actions can result in wildly different outcomes.

No need to apologize, I understand such issues if not reproducible are hard to track. I did my time writing and debugging software and complex software systems;)

I was unable to find a pattern unfortunately, but just discovered one by chance;)

Happens in attached scenario,select Poland as you side and click play to run the game.

Then, what you need to do is to 'close' the side window (or rather collapse it to the right), open it (expand) and click on some empty area in it. Then the space bar stops working. Clicking on the map allows space bar to work. Then another click on an empty area of the sidebar disables space bar and so on.

Same things happens for the message log, open it and click on any area in it ant then you are unable to use space bar.

What I also observed when the sidebar collapse button has a visible border after clicking on it then space bar seems to expand the side bar but the game is unpaused. Not sure if this is related in any way. Also when you load a game (at least the attached one) you need to click on the map first to enable the space bar to work.
