No go, sorry, 15 races, come on give me a break, how far are you going from the Dungeon and Dragons Rule Set, assuming that's what your going by bc your naming the game off of a famous city from that Game/Rule Set. Sorry for my Rant. But NO, Not Nice. I watch the Preview and it a modern RPG so far from the DnD Rule Set it should be strip of the Title Baldur Gate, bc, its only by name and that's it. END OF RANT.

AGREED, Not a fanboy or a fan of the new edition either, why did they have to change it, WHY!!!!

, WHAT WAS WRONG WITH 3.0 or even 3.5, Wizard of the Coast you destroyed Dungeon and Dragons with you Greed, it didn't need fixing or Changing just added content

WotC risked to damage the brand on a "Disney Star Wars"-level with the 4th Edition (the
"It is not World of Warcraft on the tabletop! Really! True, we have Tanks, Healers, Battlefield Controllers and stuff, but we are not aping the WoW crowd! Honest!"

5th Edition, I'm told, is among the most successful ever. Better yet, it returned to the D&D roots: a fantasy role-playing game.

Personally, my two favourite editions are the original Red/Blue/Green/Black/Gold box (and its wonderful setting: Mystara) now collected in the "Rules Cyclopedia"; and 3.5E (refined with some improvements taken from Pathfinder). I know that 3.5E is not loved by everybody, but it A) is D&D and B) we had years of fun with it.

Personally I prefer 2ed ADnD. I got into 3.5 but 2nd my love, just gonna the crit table in 2nd.
