When launch a weapon like deliah, tomahawk or something like that after the launch you should be able to change their plot and their target but you cant. See attached.

Just tested it with a Tomahawk and that is correct. Way points must be set before launch but can be moved after launch. Also, the target can be changed by selecting the weapon when it is in the air and using "Engage Target(s) - Auto" (cannot use manual select after launch).

Can be moved but if you select the tomahawk and press F3 to plot a new course then you can not plot any course and after this can not change the target neither. As far i know with "man in the loop" weapons you can change his course as many times as you want (after the launch).

I just tried it again, launching a "RGM-109E Tomahawk Blk IV TACTOM" and was able to change its course using F3. Even with the course change it hit its designated target.

You can also change its course by selecting and moving the individual way points. Did this in the test and the second missile also hit its target.

However, you cannot change the missiles altitude or speed using F2.

Using DB3K_483.

Addendum.

Just to be sure I tried these tests with current Public version of CMO, B1134.3 instead of my DB3K development one. The results were the same as above.

Was working fine for me last night with 109-I's, 158-C's, mald-j, which are 3 weapons I know allow it, re-targeted\repathed via f1\f3 just fine.
B1134.3 and later in the night B1136.1
Just keep in mind in the case of custom configs or loadouts (like say sticking a VLS on a container ship) make sure the firing platform has the tomahawk command link though or else you will not be able to re-target or re-path once fired.

LUA to do that if need:

local myunit =  ScenEdit_GetUnit({name='TheUnitName'});
--## Tomahawk Command Datalink 1600nm 160ch
ScenEdit_UpdateUnit({guid=tostring(myunit.guid),mode='add_comms',dbid='134'});

I managed to plot the course but it is with the sim in pause, if you try (like i was doing) to change the course with the sim running you can not do and then the course got bug and you can not do anything with this weapon anymore.

Maybe is intended for dev reason. If not try out for yourselves like i said with the sim running.

Question: how do you plot the weapon's course before launch? I usually just launch and then press F3 to set the course...

Manual attack mode. In the lower right of the form, you should see the weapon assigned and 2 (?) buttons to handle plotting a course.

Hey Kobu,

Thanks for the report. We've found the issue and are working on a fix. In the mean time the best workaround is to do any changes to datalinked weapon course or target while the sim is paused. This should be fixed in the next update.
