There is a movie about this unit. The highest scoring ace was actually a Czech pilot.

Correction: the Communists shot the intellectuals and leaders of any kind. Many countries around the world have practiced socialism in a democratic system quite nicely. There is decent movie about Polish pilots in RAF, 303 Squadron.

Unit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No._303_Squadron_RAF

No. 303 Squadron claimed the largest number of aircraft shot down of the 66 Allied fighter squadrons engaged in the Battle of Britain, even though it joined the fray two months after the battle had begun.[15]

That was claims, verified ones by various historians put numbers between 44-60. Lower number would put unit 4th highest-scoring, higher number to highest-scoring still in BoB.

About movie, aerial scenes are decently well made for low-budget movie.
